Playing with particles for Amoss music video.
This was a fun motion design project that involved developing a concept for a music video for our drum & bass friends Amoss. By using abstract reactive particle systems, we created a flowing animation that reflected the feel and tone of the track.
Before this project, we’d been experimenting with interesting ways After Effects can interpret 3D objects. This film was the perfect opportunity to bring this research to life and create a full film. Building an abstract high-poly model in Cinema4D, we used this to drive the particle animation in After Effects, through plug-in Trapcode Form.
It was a great project to work on, bringing new techniques into an animation and opening our eyes to the possibilities for future bits of work.
