Bringing beer fans on-board Saltaire Brewery’s brand refresh.
Saltaire Brewery is a much-loved Yorkshire brand, with international acclaim and seriously tasty beer, so we were honoured to be part of their brand refresh. The film was released on social media during Saltaire’s nationwide launch events. In the first week, it had over 35,000 views and nearly 200 shares.
Working with the brewery’s marketing team, we scripted, filmed and edited their new brand launch film. The film needed to bring beer fans along on Saltaire’s journey, explaining the reasons behind the new look. We were also delighted to reveal four brand new beers in the film.
We spent three days filming, capturing all the magic that goes into a Saltaire beer. Glorious sunshine (and beer) balanced out the jam-packed schedule across multiple locations. We recorded the voiceover on location at the Brewery with the Saltaire team to give the film an authentic touch.
In the run-up to the launch, we also produced a fast-paced 10-second teaser. The challenge was to build intrigue, without giving away too much. With fast-cuts and quick text-led motion graphics, the teaser caught the audiences’ eye as they scrolled through their social feeds.
We optimised the film for Social, creating a square format for Instagram, alongside traditional 16:9 for Facebook and Twitter. The animation went down a storm, brewing curiosity with over 2,300 views across social in the two weeks running up to the launch.
We had lots of fun on this one, learning so much about an iconic Yorkshire brand and the brewing process. More beer, please!
