Happy New Year! Is it too late to say that? It’s definitely too late to say that. Anyway, the last few months have brought about some much-needed rest over the Christmas period as well as some wonderful new projects and developments at Little Motel.

We were over the moon to welcome Kris Zhekov to the team at the start of the month. He joins us as Junior Animator at an exciting time, adding his strong design and animation skills to the team. He has a passion for all things animation, from expressive cel animation to highly personable character design. He’s previously worked with some amazing clients such as the NHS and the Welsh government and we can’t wait for him to get stuck in. Here’s an intro animation he made during his first week.

We were also thrilled to release our new showreel into the world, with a fancy new intro and a showcase of all our favourite work from over the past 12 months. Check it out!

We’re looking forward to seeing what 2021 holds. Hopefully more trips to the pub than 2020, as well as some awesome new clients and projects.
