Celebrating 7 years in style.
It’s been our ethos from the beginning to create quality work by pushing our skills and experimenting. So what better way of celebrating that than our latest studio project, an ode to the mystical number 7. We created an action-packed 30-second motion design animation to mark seven years of Little Motel. The film counts through the years using abstract references to the Adobe After Effects interface, whether that be the timeline, the curve editor, or rigging plugins.

A bit more about the project.
Kris & Tom worked closely together, bouncing inspiration and experimentations amongst each other to develop the overall narrative flow. This teamwork led to a blend of their individual styles, creating something completely unique that reflects our culture and the fun we have working together. We began with simple shapes such as the diamond and the keyframe in the sketches. From there, it was a visual journey to reach the final motion design. Then once we were animating, if an idea didn’t work, then it took teamwork, research and a little experimentation to find what worked best.
