Vibrant social campaign boosts teacher recruitment.
The problem
Bradford Teaching asked us to create an animated social campaign that increases teacher training and recruitment in Bradford. They needed to engage with young graduates thinking about a career in teaching.
Our solution
Our colourful campaign illustrates the unique rewards of teaching in the city. Interviewing six teachers, we teased out key topic areas so their performances were honest and natural. From our research, we knew authentic, relaxed responses would resonate best with the audience. The animated social campaign had an immediate impact on social feeds, spreading enthusiasm for schools in Bradford far and wide.

A stand-out campaign inspired by passionate teachers.
We hand-picked teachers that were doing amazing things in Bradford and then filmed them on a green screen at a film studio. That meant we could add bright backgrounds and hand-illustrated graphics, giving the films a playful style. The typography also helps people enjoy the films without sound – a common obstacle with social media campaigns. Alongside the illustrations, we also evolved the Bradford Teaching brand colours. We chose bold colours to boost their visibility on social media feeds, catching the attention of aspiring teachers.
