We collaborated with Prohibition PR to promote royal jewellers Mappin & Webb’s new engagement collection. The social media animations bring graceful detailing to their product imagery.
Our social ads launched Mappin & Webb’s range online and in-store. We created six different versions of every animation, creating optimised versions for Instagram feeds and stories, as well as Facebook ads and in-store screens across the UK. Following the success of the first collection, the creative was extended to a whole season campaign. We then developed an illustrated butterfly that effortlessly flies across their social media channels.
For the first social media animation campaign, we worked with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations of roses and product imagery. We crafted a series of elegant floral animations bespoke for each new product.
We then evolved this to create a further 34 ads, reusing assets alongside developing a series of sketched butterflies. The butterflies glide between products, drawing attention to subtle design details as well as bringing cohesion to Instagram carousel posts. We also animated a set of seasonal graphics to celebrate Valentine’s and Mother’s day.
